A personal favourite – this painting conveys a real sense of peace and relaxation. This piece features our ‘home beach’ Zelma Bay, where I love walking my dog Penny with my husband and two young kids. I chose a slightly ‘idealized’ colour palette of tangerine tinged sky with muted soft purples and used smooth blending and soft brushstrokes to make it very visually soothing. The sea shimmers in light blue and turquoise tones.
